A Message from our

Executive Director

This year has been a truly remarkable year for a charity that is undertaking transformation. With Kafel Aid running as a charity to tackle refugee challenges, we witnessed the organisation playing a significant role in empowering young individuals to stand on their own feet.

Kafel Aid has been able to respond to the suffering of young Eritreans living in the refugee camps in East Sudan. We have been particularly effective in bespoke responding to the needs of Kassala[1] due to our continued presence in the region. Kafel Aid is the first non-profit organisation addressing this area of humanitarian support.

We strongly believe that poor communities should have access to practical and high standard education. This year our pioneering Maher project and MyProject, which provides free vocational training in essential professions, was able to reach young people many different fields such as Diesel Automotive Engineering, Leather Products, Mobile Engineering, Catering etc. Kafel Aid is appreciative for the support of our individual donors, partners, and funding institutions that have provided us with the funds and ideas to continue supporting those in need.
